Centrepoint

Since 2016, the ASOS Foundation has proudly partnered with Centrepoint to help homeless young people access vital support, heal from past trauma, and build the confidence and skills they need to leave homelessness behind for good.

Our Centrepoint partnership has focused on making a real difference by funding services that offer not just a place to stay, but the holistic care that helps young people feel safe, supported, and seen. This partnership has not only provided over £2.5 million in crucial financial support, but we have also contributed over £250,000 in pro bono expertise, sharing what we do best to help the charity grow. Together, we’re driving Centrepoint’s mission to transform lives and end youth homelessness.

One of our proudest shared achievements is the Centrepoint Helpline. Launched in 2017 with funding from the ASOS Foundation, it was the first helpline in the UK dedicated to young people aged 16–25 facing homelessness. Since then, it’s supported over 47,000 young people with expert advice on emergency housing, rights, and staying safe.

Our support has enabled Centrepoint to take things one step further with an AI-powered chatbot meaning young people can still get help and information, day or night, even when the Helpline is closed.

This year we’re looking to deepen and strengthen our support to enable Centrepoint to continue to be there for young people when they need it most, ensuring their services can run sustainably and meet the needs of those engaging with them.

This work is part of a bigger mission: to end youth homelessness for good. With one young person in the UK facing homelessness every four minutes, the need has never been greater.

Together, we’re making it possible for young people to access the help they need so they never have to face homelessness on their own.

When our partnership with the ASOS Foundation began in 2017, the funding enabled us to launch the only national Helpline that is providing expert advice and guidance to young people facing homelessness across the country. Since then, your continued funding has enabled the Helpline to innovate and expand, reaching more young people at their points of crisis and offering them the opportunity of a better future. On behalf of everyone at Centrepoint, I say a sincere thank you to the ASOS Foundation for your ongoing support – it is helping so many young people to change their stories for the better.

OnSide

Youth services across the UK have been stretched to breaking point, with more than 4,500 youth worker roles lost and 750 youth centres closed. That means thousands of young people are missing out on the trusted support, positive activities, and guidance they need to thrive.

The ASOS Foundation is proud to partner with OnSide, a national charity building a new network of state-of-the-art Youth Zones in areas that need them most. These centres are safe, vibrant spaces where young people can discover new passions, build confidence, and access help when they need it. We’re proud to be a key partner in OnSide’s brand-new Youth Zone in Barnsley, Base71. The Youth Zone will provide thousands of young people with access to over 20 different activities every week, from music production and climbing to dance, sport, and digital skills. But more importantly, it offers something far deeper: a place to belong, grow, and dream bigger.

Once open, the centre is expected to welcome around 4,000 members in its first year, with up to 150 attending every evening. Many of these young people have faced significant challenges and will finally have somewhere to go, something to do, and someone to talk to.

Now, we’re deepening our commitment by making a strategic, long-term investment in the future of youth work and the next generation of youth sector leaders through a youth worker career pathway. We’re supporting the salaries, training, and career development of youth workers across 10 Youth Zones, ensuring more young people have access to tailored mentoring, life-changing opportunities, and trusted adult support.

It’s about more than just filling the gap. It’s about rebuilding the youth sector and creating a strong, sustainable future, starting with future youth work leaders. At a time when youth services have been severely impacted by cuts, this partnership is a bold step towards restoring what’s been lost and unlocking the full potential of young people nationwide.

Through OnSide’s Youth Zones, and with support from the ASOS Foundation, young people will have not only a place to go, but people to guide them and a future they can believe in.

Thank you to the ASOS Foundation and supporters for your belief in young people. You’ve supported the growth of the Youth Zone movement—from Yorkshire’s first Youth Zone, Base71 in Barnsley, and now youth worker career pathways in London and beyond. Your commitment gives young people something priceless and utterly aligned to your mission: confidence—be it through fashion, technology, or the opportunities that make today better than yesterday.

(Fashion) Minority Report

The fashion and creative industries are full of opportunity, but for too long, access has not been equal. Many young people from underrepresented communities face systemic barriers that prevent them from pursuing their ambitions.

Together with (Fashion) Minority Report (FMR), we’re creating a future where talent, not background, determines opportunity.

In Autumn 2026, we will launch FMR Foundations: The Business of Brands, a new programme for 16–25 year-olds across the UK. This innovative initiative combines industry-led talks, hands-on workshops, and practical guidance to help young people gain the skills and confidence they need to step into the creative industries.

But this partnership goes further than opening doors, it’s about changing the fashion industry. By investing in innovation, access, and community empowerment, we’re working with FMR to drive lasting change and ensure that every young person, no matter their background, has a fair chance to succeed.

Together, we’re reimagining the future of fashion: one that is more inclusive, representative, and full of opportunity for all.

For over 3 years, ASOS and the Fashion Minority Report have been working together to create meaningful change, and this new strand to our partnership feels like the next chapter in championing inclusivity, inspiring growth, and enabling access to an industry where everyone has the chance to succeed.
