London, 19 February 2026: Topshop today announces a 18-piece capsule collection with acclaimed British-Nigerian designer and multidisciplinary artist Tolu Coker. A finalist for the 2025 LVMH Prize, Coker is celebrated for a precise, narrative-led approach to luxury womenswear, where craft, silhouette and lived experience meet in garments designed to last.
Rooted in Coker’s London upbringing and the spaces that have shaped her, the collection explores social mobility and the modern woman in motion - what she carries, what she outgrows and what she claims as she moves through the city. It’s an ode to the lived architecture of London: doorways, corridors, stairwells, lifts - all thresholds that mark ambition, reinvention and arrival.
Built through Coker’s philosophy of clothing as heirloom, the capsule is designed with longevity at its core. Expert tailoring techniques, intentional construction and transeasonal versatility demonstrate pieces made to be worn, lived in and kept. Vintage details and British tailoring are juxtaposed against the democratic nature of denim, with both Coker and Topshop leaning into their shared heritage in denim development to create a wardrobe that evolves with time and wear.
Tolu Coker’s signature tailoring is reimagined through sculptural denim, thoughtfully developed from concept to creation in line with Topshop’s circular design criteria, including recycled content, and durability (for more information on our circular design collection criteria, please click here). Directional knitwear sits alongside sharp blazers, pleated trousers and statement jumpsuits, balancing structure with ease. The pieces are designed to move through different moments and moods supporting a more considered relationship to clothing, where styling is personal and repeat wear is the point.
The collaboration is underpinned by Coker’s long-standing spirit of communal design, created in conversation with trusted, long-term collaborators. The campaign film was directed by her brother and longtime collaborator Ade Coker, celebrated for his cinematic, visionary, documentary-led approach. Campaign photography was shot by Rashidi Noah, a long-term collaborator whose lens captures intimacy and strength without performance. Nodding to British craftsmanship, Coker’s long-time collaborator Virna Pasquinelli crafted millinery from upcycled collection samples. Boots and accessories similarly appear across the campaign reinforcing a commitment to craft, continuity and circular thinking.
The campaign is titled “DOORS” a reflection on the thresholds the modern woman crosses throughout life and the wardrobe she carries with her through each one. From work to home, from private to public, from arrival to reinvention, the collection explores versatility not as trend, but as lived reality.
Today, guests at Coker’s London Fashion Week show, including His Royal Highness King Charles III and Lil Simz were given a first preview as select knitwear pieces from the capsule appeared on the runway alongside Coker’s mainline collection. The full Topshop x Tolu Coker capsule was then announced during a private “DOORS” luncheon showcase at 180 Studios Health Club, with special guests including Ella Eyre, Zeze Mills and Munya Chawawa. The capsule will be available to Topshop’s global community on www.topshop.com from early March. Customers can sign up to the brand’s mailing list for further information on launch dates.
Tolu Coker said: Topshop was my first job when I was 16, so this collaboration is personal, but it’s also a statement of intent. We designed with restraint, maintained quality, considered quantities, and circular choices, because accessibility shouldn’t mean excess. The collection is built to live beyond a season: transeasonal, versatile, and made with longevity in mind. I believe the positive future of our industry lies in collaboration. The reach and resources of brands like Topshop, coupled with the ideas and rigour of young designers, is how we shift our approach to design in a tangible way. It takes bravery to interrogate what ‘accessible’ can mean and to take real steps to evolve it. We don’t have all the answers, but this is a step in the right direction, and a foundation we can build upon.
Michelle Wilson, Managing Director of Topshop, said: The reaction to the runway reveal shows just how significant Tolu’s creative voice is. This collaboration reflects everything Topshop stands for today, championing individuality, creativity and cultural relevance. Working with Tolu has been incredibly inspiring, and the collection represents a shared belief in fashion as a platform for storytelling. We’re proud to support her vision and bring something so considered, expressive and meaningful to our global community.
