Last week, a group of our ASOS designers headed to the Science Museum to lift the lid on how we’re using AI in our design processes. Hosted by BBC Bitesize, the event brought together businesses from across various industries, including tech, education and finance, to help young people feel more confident about how AI could fit into their future careers.
With new research from BBC Bitesize showing that more than a third (36%) of UK teenagers worry that AI could take jobs away from them in the future, our designers helped tackle those concerns head on, leading sessions that showed how AI supports creative work. They walked students through how AI helps us experiment with ideas, speed up parts of the design process, and bring collections to life faster than ever, all while keeping human creativity at the centre.
It was a brilliant morning full of curiosity, questions and myth busting. The students were especially excited to see how technology and fashion come together at ASOS, and our team did an amazing job showing what the future of creative work really looks like.
A big thank you to our team of designers for representing ASOS so brilliantly. Moments like these are a great reminder of the impact we can have when we share what we do with the next generation!
