From runway moments to a Piccadilly takeover – Topshop returns to LFW with a bang

Moses Rashid

Global Marketing Director, Topshop

Thursday marked the return of London Fashion Week, and a day full of Topshop moments that put the brand back in the spotlight.

We kicked things off at Tolu Coker’s show at 180 The Strand, where Tolu sent knits from our upcoming collaboration down the runway. She took her bow wearing the Tolu Coker x Topshop denim co‑ord and striped shirt, all in front of King Charles, Stella McCartney, Lil Simz and Skepta. A major moment for both Tolu and the collab.

From there, the team hosted a lunch at 180 to celebrate the collaboration and give guests an exclusive preview of the campaign film. Ella Eyre, Zeze Mills and Munya Chawawa joined us, all looking incredible in head‑to‑toe Topshop. We’ll be sharing more details about the collab in a few weeks.

Next up, we headed to Central Saint Martins, where MA Fashion students showcased their re‑imagined Topshop denim on the runway. Fifty proposals were narrowed down to ten final designs, each reinventing our iconic Jamie and Joni jeans in bold, imaginative ways. The students behind the final looks each received £1,000 as part of Topshop’s ongoing commitment to championing the next generation of talent.

And then came the finale.

In partnership with John Lewis and the British Fashion Council, Topshop lit up Piccadilly Circus to officially kick off London Fashion Week. Jeremiah Asiamah opened with a high‑energy DJ set, followed by a live Ella Eyre performance streamed across the iconic screens and turning the heart of London into a full‑scale brand moment.

Inside Together, our immersive art space with the BFC and Random International, guests explored the latest Topshop and Topman collections. VIPs, press and industry names — including Anais Gallagher, Charli Howard, Laura Whitmore, Jaime Winstone, Layton Williams and more — packed the room.

A huge day, a massive cultural moment, and the perfect way to celebrate Topshop’s return to the spotlight.
