On Saturday, we proudly joined our charity partner OnSide for the official opening of Base71 Youth Zone — a flagship project funded by the ASOS Foundation.
The Youth Zone has been in the making for over five years and we are so proud to have played such a pivotal role throughout this time. Nick Robertson, Chairman of the ASOS Foundation and Founder of ASOS, officially opened the space, which has been purpose-built to support thousands of young people in Barnsley.
Packed with creative studios, sports facilities, mentoring programmes and wellbeing support, it gives young people a safe, inspiring place to belong and real pathways to opportunity, and sits at the heart of the ASOS Foundation’s mission to break down barriers so young people can achieve amazing things.
We couldn’t have done this without the support of ASOSers across the business who have volunteered, fundraised, shopped the sample sale and everything in between. Your generosity has helped bring this world‑class facility to life and will pave the way for young people in Barnsley for years to come.
