This September, adidas is introducing a new range influenced heavily by Drop 4 of our ASOS x adidas Originals collaboration. This is testament to how positively the drop was received and is a great example of how the ASOS approach to design, styling and product can inspire our partner brands.
Drawing on some of the standout trends from the Drop 4 collection, the new range reinterprets key pieces for everyday wear. Several styles from our collaboration have helped inform the new range, including the stripe polo, blousy jacket silhouettes and seersucker check tracksuit.
And if there's one piece to watch, it's the Firebird blousy peplum track jacket. One of the collaboration's most distinctive silhouettes, it's now making its way into the wider adidas offer.
While the range will be available through a select group of retail partners, ASOS customers will have access to several exclusive colourways. Highlights include the blousy peplum track jacket, check track top and check track bottoms in desert brown, and a red-striped polo, with average prices for jackets, bottoms, and polos being £60 - £75.
More than anything, the range shows that a successful collaboration can do more than create excitement in the moment. It can help influence what comes next.
